Day 2

Today I get to teach you something I know a lot about.

I don't really think I can say I'm an "expert" at anything. Actually, I can't. And I also don't know that I can say there is anything that I am especially good at doing that I could teach you on this here blog.

But I have learned how to get my husband to help me on home improvements. Now, I know that he hates that I have a list of things I need to do thats about 10 miles long. He doesn't like to do them. He's told me so. He's also told me that he doesn't think about things like that around our house because he thinks things are just great the way they are.

He'd be wrong about that last part... and I've told him so...

But the trick, for me, to get my husband to help me with projects is to just get started on them.

Like that time when he cam home from work and my cabinets suddenly looked like this:

Because then he has to help me finish.

He doesn't have to. But he's so awesome that he will. Even though he doesn't want to and didn't want to start the project to begin with.

So there you go.

Thats what I know how to do, pretty well.
