Okay, okay, I don't really like to admit when I am stalking a blog. You know, reading it silently, gleaning information about strangers. But. If you want a good laugh, read the blog Seriously, so blessed!. It is hilarious. Don't take it seriously, its not meant to be taken that way. Its a joke. I wish I could be her. Literally.
Anyway, I seriously am like the luckiest girl in the world though. You know back when I talked about building blocks? Well we had another DOOZY come into our lives last thursday and my life has officially changed! (no I'm not pregnant. DEATH is not a GOOD change, because that would KILL ME) Anyway, I will write more about this building block at a later date, but I'm just waiting to see where the blocks will fall. I think this could be the best thing that could have happened at this time. Time will tell :D

i have a problem...
... called curiosity.
i am working on not being so curious.
you know, waiting for information to be volunteered instead of asking.
like with husband.
i like to ask him when i don't think the answer is coming soon enough.
silly.
i should just be patient.
so i put this new patience to test yesterday when husband told me he had secret errands to run today.
i asked what they were and he said "i can't tell you! its a secret!"
and he had a cute look on his face.
shoot dang.
now i really really want to know.
blah.
in other news... it seems so weird that one year ago i was moving out of one apartment to go home to get married. sheesh. i never would have guessed that one year later i would be getting ready to go to my BEAUTIFUL cousin Erikas wedding and have a little baby coming.
sheesh.
good thing nobody told me that they had a secret about that.
it might have killed me.

wedding fun
So Darrell's little sister Dani got married to our best friend Tyler on June 1st. We, of course, went down for the festivities and they had such a lovely day. It was fun to get to be there and see them and how excited they were and it reminded me of our wedding day and how exciting it was. My oh my. It was also fun to spend time around Darrell's family and get to know them even better. They got married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan. I had never seen the temple up close but it was lovely inside and out. I also really enjoyed hearing the marriage ceremony again. Its beautiful. I didn't cry at my own wedding but hearing the ceremony again while sitting next to my handsome husband made me tear up just a little. The wedding was also super fun because I got to see my best friend ever Pyper and her husband Kyle!!!I'm sure I've mentioned this story before but Kyle and Pyper and I were all best friends in high school. Pyper and Kyle started dating after we graduated. Kyle went on a mission where one of is companions was Tyler. When they all got home Pyper and Kyle were determined to get me to go out with Tyler. When we finally did do something Tyler brought along Darrell... haha funny funny circle.
Anyway, the wedding was fantasically beautiful and I'm super excited for Dani and Tyler to start their new life together!
In other news. I get so frustrated with my stupid job. So my family is going to Mexico. I've known this since like January/February-ish. Knowing that June is a busy month for vacations I think to myself "I should request that time off just in case other people do." So I do. Walmart is ridiculous. I talk to my assistant manager who approves time off requests and let her know that I'm leaving the country and I need that time off because I won't be here. So what happens? The requests don't get looked at until last week and on that weeks schedule that is posted last Monday, I'm scheduled to work on Friday. Halfway through our vacation. Um, okay? Yes. Please let me come home from Mexico so I can just work one day. What a joke. Luckily one of the supervisors was very helpful... (i maybe cried just a little to her) and a lady at work was very nice and switched me. PHEW.

building blocks
you know the moment when it seems that all those little pieces start fitting together? like building blocks? like you plan where you want it to go and then unexpectedly something you think might be bad happens but then when you really look at it and figure out how that thing is going to fit in you realize that it really will work and then you can keep on building? well my life has been a little like that lately. so husband and i bought a car. not just any car, a pretty car. a nissan maxima car. its a 2005 and its b-e-a-utiful!!! i love it. that was definitely an unexpected building block... inspired by yet another unexpected one... but things are good. and the unexpected things? well i think they just give our fort a little character. thats all. oh and don't worry... i haven't forgotten to tell you my secret... i'm just waiting for the right time :)
