What have I been up to you ask, that has kept me away from my blog? Well our roof of course!!! We finally got 'er done! Yup. Me and Darrell and Chad worked on it for almost two weeks. 7 am to 12 or so, every morning. Then one Saturday with a lot more help and then just me and my dad for one more evening to round the whole adventure out. And if you can believe it, we were literally six inches short on ridge shingles. Six. Ah well, so is life. Anyway, now it's done. No more garbage bags on the roof (classy). Now I spend my days playing with the little one (and trying to avoid melt downs like the one pictured), texting ridiculous things to my sister (in the attempt of getting her to help me with my roof) and thrifting AWESOME treasures at the DI like the pink suitcase and matching toiletries case. Oh and my new interest in Pilates (I can't really use any of my core muscles today... Im in pathetic shape). Basically life is good!
