dear everyone

my baby is a boy.

i know, i know, he has long hair. long curly hair. ringlets. i know. i get it, its adorable hair.

hair that you would want (dream) for any little girl to have.

my  child, however is a boy.

i try to emphasize this by dressing him in "boy" colors, you know, green, grey, blue...

i have resigned myself to the very real possibility that if and hopefully when i do have a girl, she will probably be bald.

so thank you, kind older lady and sweet baby loving men, thank you for telling me my baby is such a beautiful girl, but he is a boy.  and his curls will stay until i'm ready to get rid of them.

  1. I say take advantage of his little curls...Makenna didn't cut off Rhett's curls Forever...it was down to his shoulders I think :D But when she did it wasn't curly anymore.

  2. My girls also lost their curls as soon as I cut them off. :( Of course he won't be any less handsome when that happens, just different!

  3. People always thought Rhett was a girl. My mom would even put barrettes in his hair to try and get me to cut it, but it was soooooo cute I couldn't do it. He was almost two before I did! Leave the curls!

  4. Kristina is in mourning as her curly haired chubby chunk of love is now boy boy boy!! a certained un-named parent cut his curly locks off knowing that she wasn't ready for her baby boy to become a little man boy.
he is still adorable (and healthy and perfect) but it definately changed his looks!
