So today I'm sitting in my room. Baby sleeping, husband at a job interview.

I hear a popping noise and then a shattering sound.

Not like glass shattering, like something crumbling shattering.

I run into the kitchen and what do I see and suddenly remember?

Let me take you back,

I finished working in the garden and decided I would like some boiled eggs. I put them on, put the baby to bed and go to look at the computer while the water starts boiling... see where this is going?

fast forward.

Panic stricken I suddenly see the oven on, and an egg split up all over the floor.


Anybody else didn't realize that eggs EXPLODE if the cook too long? Anybody? No? Just me then...

(no it didn't blow the lid off the pan... that would have been cool right?)
