wishes

I wish I could take a picture of every moment in baby boy's life. Every smile, every frown, every giggle, cry, yell, squeal.

I wish I could record the look of wonder on his face when he discovers something new. His tongue, his toes, his fingers.

I wish I could cuddle him forever. And  never miss one moment of him holding him while he's warm from sleeping soundly in bed.

I wish I could catch every spit bubble he blows, every sigh he makes and every laugh. Bottle it up and be able to hold the pure excitement he has for everything.

I wish I didn't feel like I was missing every moment becuase they are happening all too fast.

I wish my baby would stop growing up.
