busy busy

I have been busy busy busy lately! I have decided that I really DO NOT want to go back to Walmart (*gasp*) and so I have been trying to come up with a different way to make some money. I always talk about how I want to use crafting to make some money, so I decided to set up a shop on etsy! I'm pretty excited about it and have been slowly working stocking up my store and now I just have to wait for people to check out my things and want to buy them! Now here's how you can help, all you lovely bloggers! Go to facebook and search for Dashing Little Darlings. Thats my business page. "Like" it and if you are feeling generous, spread the love to your friends too!!! Also, head over to etsy to my shop and check it out. Maybe you'll see something you like!

Just a few of the things I have made for my etsy shop!

Also, I do believe I have found a job! I have a friend who worked at Qwest with me who now works for a company called Rise. Well I ran into her at the gym the other day and she asked me if I was going back to Walmart and I told her how all I want to do is work during the day a few days a week. Then she told me that all she is needing right now is some day time help!!! So I sent her an email and she is going to be getting in touch with me soon! I'm so excited about this!!!!

  2. Another idea: Rochelle just got her 11th piano student. She has only had 4 for the past 8 months. She started playing alot in her ward and since Christmas she has increased to 11!! You are very talented and can teach. She started by going to thier homes until she purchased a piano.

  3. I was going to suggest the same thing momma! You are very talented Emily and there is no reason you could not teach piano. It ends up being $20-$30/hr depending on what you are able to charge for where you live. So it makes a lot of sense to have a few students and work 4 - 6 hours/week making more $ instead of working more and getting paid less.
Think about it. I love it!

  6. RISE is such a great company! I've known a few people who have worked there, including my aunt. I hope it all works out for you!
