i'm growing a giant.

at least thats what the doctor is starting to think.
and i think i just suffered a major sugar crash.

let me explain.

so today i had a doctors appointment. today i also had to do a glucose test to check for diabetes. so i don't eat my breakfast like instructed. i begin drinking the drink by 9:15 like instructed. i finish by 9:20 like instructed and almost gagged cause i chugged and it tasted terrible. i arrive to my appointment at 10:20 sharp. and they made me wait for 25 minutes. which normally i wouldn't care but they also forgot to ask if/when i completed my glucose drink so they could draw my blood. they didn't. so they didn't draw it. so i sat there starving hungry and desperately wanting to eat something... anything... and they inform me that even though i did everything just like they instructed i have to suffer through another drink. hooray. and all that sugar cause baby to have super heart rate. also fantastic. and then i came home and totally crashed. no more sugar for me.

oh and the doctor measured my belly again. last time i was 4 centimeters bigger than i should have been which i guess equals like 4 weeks of growth bigger... awesome. so i go today and i'm still bigger so now i get to go back in today and have another ultra sound to find out if i'm just growing a giant? or if there are two? (ack! probably not though hahaha) or if they have my due date wrong.

i have never disliked going to the doctor.

i just want things to be normal :(

  2. Well I grew a giant and had a correct due date and I don't think it could have gone any better than it did -- big babies are fun! And after seeing some of the ones your cousins have had I am starting to think this might be a Mortensen thing --- !
