If graduating weren't enough to distract me...

This last 24 hours would be! Darrell proposed to me last night as part of our 'Little Christmas' celebration! On Friday night Darell, Matt and I built the most amazing cardboard fort in the whole entire world in my living room. It was pretty much amazing. It took up the entire space and the only way that you could really get into it was through a tunnel that came in from the kitchen. It was pretty sweet. Anyway, we decided to do our gift exchange in the fort because it was just that cool. So we did our little gift exchange, and I gave Tyler and Darrell a color-it-yourself-puzzle and we all got a can of Dr. Pepper from Matt. Tyler gave me a pretty sweet Winnie-the-Pooh art kit thingy and Darrell gave Tyler a mini Jenga set. It was pretty awesome. So then there was only one gift left! So Darrell handed me my gift and it was full of little lotion tubes and a bottle of nail polish and then at the bottom of the bag underneath cotton balls was a little box. I was a little surprised to see it there and I pulled it out and looked in... and there was the prettiest ring sitting right there. Darrell took it from me and got on one knee (which I'm not going to lie was pretty difficult considering that our heads were almost touching the ceiling of our super awesome fort) and asked me to marry him!! I said yes and I'm pretty sure that I said "Shut up!" at least three or four times. I'm also pretty sure I asked him "is this for real?" It was pretty crazy. Anyway I don't really know how I'm going to be able to focus on school now that I have some papers to write and I'm graduating. It's okay though, I'm still pretty thrilled about the whole thing!!!!!
