So I'm sitting here on my dear sweet cousin Erika's bed as she dutifully prepares her farewell talk so that we can play later tonight and I can't help but thank my lucky stars that I live in beautiful Sandy as opposed to St. George. I honestly don't understand why people like living in places that are this hot. Yes, they are nice, and yes, the winters are "better" but still. I would rather be freezing my little bum of in the snow than slowly feel my blood turn to water. That said, I am so excited for my cousin! She is serving in the Baltimore, Maryland mission and she is going to do such an awesome job!!!! I'm a little sad to see her go, but like we all know, time will go on no matter how we spend it so I'm glad she is choosing to spend it like this. I can't believe how many wonderful examples I have right now. My Grandma Green is serving a mission in Toronto Canada right now and having a wonderful time sharing the gospel with all the people around her. Not only her but Will just left on his mission and is in the Provo MTC getting ready to leave to Germany! and now Erika is leaving in just a few days! Its awesome.
Anyway, on a little bit of a lighter note, my old roommate and her husband are also down here in St. George to attent the farewell on Sunday and since it is so hot here and because they have a pool at the hotel they are staying at, we decided that it would be wonderful to go swimming. Well, I didn't bring a swim suit with me so i had to run and buy one. So I'm at Walmart perusing the racks, trying to find something that would look semi decent (as many of you may know, or feel the pain, I am rather... as I think Christan would say voluptuous) and I manage to snag three tops that look that they just might do and can I just say WOW. You know those women that you see at the pool and you wonder just how they manage to fit all that into one little bitty suit? or the ones that look like they have created a very delicate creation and with one flick it all will come falling down? Well I looked just like them!!! It was ubelievable. I almost started laughing out loud, and then I almost took a picture but I realized that if I started laughing the poor ladies working right outside the door would think I was suffering from a nervous break down and might come in, which I did not want. And if I took a picture, I just know that at some point I would be looking through my phone with friends and there is no way in... you know where... that I would ever want any of my friends seeing a picture of me like that. That's just how bad it was. Luckily I found a cute one that wasn't too shabby and the swimming went, well, swimmingly :) anyway, I think she's about done, so I think we're going to paint the town before she isn't allowed anymore!

I was laughing out loud reading your post - hopefully not to your chagrin ;) I have a very cute photo of you in the pool from the reunion by the way. I swear, it's so adorable that even you may agree :)
