Today I woke up to the sound of wind. It was really, quite frightening. Actually, wind is not quite what it was, it was more the sound of a huge CRASH against my wall. I still am not sure what hit the building but it was something big. You know in cartoons when the little people are walking against the wind and they are leaning almost to the ground to prove how hard the wind is blowing? Well, my experience walking to school today was somewhat similar except that instead of walking leaning forward, I had to lean to the side or I would be blown straight off the side walk. It was pretty crazy. I feel like a change in weather is fast approaching. Bummer. It has really been so beautiful the last couple of days. I actually don't think that I even needed to wear a jacket, I only did out of complete habit.
Well, the count is on. There are only 8 more class days and finals week. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little sad that this semester is going to be done so soon. I really have enjoyed my classes this semester and my teachers have all been amazing. I feel like I have actually accomplished something this term. The scary thing is that this semester went by so fast. I only have one left. I don't know what to do when I'm done with school. I only know how to go to school. Its all I've done for the last17 years of my life!!!! Anyway, I'm sure that I will figure it out! Well, I ought to go. I'm pondering working on a paper. Although, it is 11:30 at night. Sleep is always a good options :D

I am not afraid of many things, but listening to wind blowing outside when it's really strong and noisy is always somehow terrifying to me.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to feeling apprehensive about leaving school. I went through the same feelings once I graduated and for the first time in my life my daily activities were not almost exclusively centered around people my own age and in my same position in life. Adjusting to the "real world" definitely took a bit of time. Now I'm pretty settled here in my community so I've found a new comfort zone!
I thought you were gonna say the crows had returned!
